The Fredericton Amateur Radio Club will run a course to help you earn your Advanced Certificate of Proficiency in Amateur Radio.
The cost of the course is $100. This includes the course textbook, Coax Publications’ Canadian Amateur Radio Advanced Qualification Study Guide, 2nd edition (a $50 value) and the costs of all examination materials. Students who already have this textbook will be able to join the course for $50.
Sessions will take place in the Boardroom of the Victoria Health Centre, 65 Brunswick Street, Fredericton NB.
Registration will be on Monday 15 April. I require all course fees by that date so I can order the textbooks in time for the first class.

“On Sunday 5 November, FARC’s Basic Certificate class and their instructors got together to build antennas. Each of our soon-to-be Hams left with their own 40/20m dipoles which they can put up at home. Here you can see them tuning the antennas.”
CBC Radio 1’s “Day 6” program, there is a five-minute story on the a group on high-school students in New York City who are involved in the emergency communications effort to help the American Red Cross, in the wake of hurricane Irma’s damage.
